High Altitude Comedy is a stand-up trio made up of Big Joe Buck, Timmy Moutrie, and Nic Halverson—three comedians from different walks of life who found common ground in laughter. Known for their sharp wit, self-deprecating humor, and raw storytelling, they turn life’s awkward moments, missteps, and everyday absurdities into punchlines that resonate with every crowd.Together, they remind audiences that no matter how high or low life takes you, it’s always better when you can laugh at yourself. With their unique perspectives and undeniable chemistry on stage, High Altitude Comedy brings an energetic, relatable, and unapologetically human experience to every show.

Timmy is originally from Michigan, and has lived in the mountains for the past 13 years. He lives a quiet life in the woods with his family near Leadville, Colorado. He began doing standup comedy in 2019 and is constantly working at improving his craft. His style of comedy could be described as sophomoric and self-deprecating, while trying to point out the many absurdities we experience in our daily lives. He is an avid skier and spends his time navigating the mountains with his four pitbulls.

Born and raised under the Miami sun, Joe Buck brings the warmth, energy, and rhythm of his hometown into every performance. A natural storyteller, Joe’s sets weave together self-deprecating humor, sharp observations, and the kinds of life experiences that remind us laughter really is the best survival tool.
After a few detours and travels, Joe planted roots in Colorado, where the mountains—and his loyal hiking pup—keep him grounded between gigs. When he’s not on stage, Joe’s heart is with the community, dedicating his time to local nonprofits and philanthropic work.
With a mix of charm, relatability, and quick wit, Joe Buck takes audiences on a ride that feels less like a comedy show and more like catching up with a friend who always has the best stories.
